One of my favourite holiday destinations is Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
I spent my honeymoon in Mallorca which was really nice. We stayed in the north eastern part, in Porto Christo, far from the Club 18-30 holiday makers.
Marcia and I went to Amsterdam a few years back for a long weekend and had a really nice time.
The same year we also went to Paris. That was a different experience entirely.......
If I am staying in the UK I like to visit Southwold. Not only does Southwold have excellent beaches for the summer, lovely coastal walks, a peir and lots of good restaurants, it is also home to the Adnams brewery. If Carlsberg made UK holiday resorts, it would probably make them like Southwold.
A much overlooked UK holiday desitination is Essex. It is located very close to London and has some beautiful countryside. The Hanningfields are a great place to visit.

If you want to write an article but cannot find a photo, check out Wikimedia Commons. Please note that directly embedding files from Wikimedia Commons on the fly into an external wiki (i.e. this one !)is considered as bandwidth theft and external servers doing so will be permanently blocked after Wikimedia server admins recognize it (usually very quick). There is a proposal to allow non-Wikimedia wikis to easily access Commons material - meta:InstantCommons. This feature does not yet exist, so at the moment files must be separately uploaded to other wikis. So save them to your pc, then upload them to here please !
